What’s on February

With January almost over already we are looking forward to the full and fantastic month of February.

We start the month with a Narrathon with Dr Mike Rogers as part of National Storytelling Week. The day long event guides you through a day of storytelling for all ages, starting with sessions for school children right through to nightmarish tales of Russian history. Then we have our regular visitors Simon Mayor and the Mandolinquents for their first show of the new year at Arlington Arts.

Livewire: AC/DC are back with us again on the 4th for a night of rocking entertainment. With their recurrent visits here at Arlington, we all know that we can except an exceptional night of entertainment. 3Fall Dance Company bring their spring tour to Arlington with their final year students, who not only perform their shows but also teachbongolian-ts classes in local schools. This as always promises to showcase the pure talent and dedication of those coming to the end of their university degree.

The Bongolian aka Nasser Bouzida is making his much awaited return to the Arlington stage after his last appearance with Big Boss Man in 2015. If you are in need of a funky night after a long week at work, write down Friday 10th in your diary.

Story Pocket Theatre are performing their latest show A Pocketful of Grimms. With half term comes the question of what to do with the kids, so bring them to see a wonderful adaptation of some of the more well known stories from the Brothers Grimm. With the show running at an hour, it will keep them entertained without getting fidgety. You can join them in the landninebelowts of fairy tales on Tuesday 14th.

In what’s looking to be a jam packed weekend we not only have Police Dog Hogan but Nine Below Zero.  From the genre defying eclectic mix of Police dog Hogan on Friday night to the hit blues band Nine Below Zero on Saturday. Whatever your taste in music we have something for you.
