Here at Arlington Arts Centre we try and provide everyone with a diverse range of shows which can cater to all members of the family. Within each season we always try to include some theatre, whether that be aimed at children in the half terms or like this season a couple for the adults too.
With the April half term fast approaching, there is always the question of what to do with the children. We have provided you with not one but two different options, first up is:
Paper Balloon Theatre Company who are bringing their production of The Boy and the Mermaid on the 10th April. The production which incorporates puppetry, live music and storytelling tells of a small fishing town and the dangers of the sea. (Age Guide 6+)
Topsy Turvy Theatre Company follow on the 20th with the well known story of Christopher Nibble. Follow the brave little guinea pig Christopher Nibble as he tries to save the dandelions. (Age Guide 2-7yrs)
Later on in our season we have two shows more appealing to an older audience with:
Cirque VV kick off our theatre in May on the 10th with their new and inventive piece which focuses on deaf audiences. The show which is performed in the visual vernacular, using mime, physical theatre and the art of storytelling shows how a performance can be created for deaf audiences.
Stuff is our second theatre show of May which boasts a young adult audience, this is being performed on the 25th. This show is an absurdist take on your typical love story, which takes you through the hilarity, awkwardness and fragility of love.
In a change up to our usual programming, Hambone is a character comedy about the millennial male mind. The interactive comedy show promises to be nothing like what you have seen before.
All of these shows in our current season are available to book on our website at http://www.arlingtonarts.co.uk. Or you can book by calling out Box Office on 01635 244246.  For Access of Disabled tickets please call our Box Office.
