Moving Forward

When we closed on 17th March, we never thought the closure would last for five months and still leaves us with uncertainty for the future. We are lucky enough to be able to reopen in September and are delighted to open the doors and start to welcome the community back.

Arlington Arts will reopen to the public on 1st September and we are excited to be back in the venue, planning ahead for the future. We are delighted to be able to support local dance school ACE Dance Studios, as they join us in September so they can return to their weekly classes. We cannot wait to welcome lots of young dancers to the venue so they can get back moving in a safe environment, working towards their show with us in December.

The ‘Structures of Faith’ exhibition that was scheduled for March and April went digital, as we previewed an online teaser of the work by Paul Forsey and Jim Crockatt. The exhibition will be displayed in the venue and opens on Wednesday 16th September. Please come along and view the wonderful work – opening times 10am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

We are still working with promoters and agents to finalise the indoor events we hope to be able to run in the Autumn. We will of course be in touch with any customers who have purchased tickets for shows from September, to communicate any changes.

We cannot thank our customers and wider community enough for the support we have received during our closure. There will be more challenges to overcome as we open and receive further guidance – however, we are ready to move forward as we continue to entertain the community and support Mary Hare School.

See you soon,
The Arlington Arts Team
