Del Amitri โ€“ 45 Years Of Modest Failure. An Evening Of Conversation With Justin Currie & Iain Harvie

Del Amitri founding members Justin Currie and Iain Harvie are hitting the road for an intimate and unscripted evening of conversation, storytelling, and reflection. As the driving creative force behind hits like “Roll to Me,” “Always the Last To Know”, and “Nothing Ever Happens,” singer Justin and guitarist Iain have shared over four decades of songwriting, world tours, and band history.

Tonight, they step away from the amps to share candid, hilarious, poignant, and sometimes absurd tales from life on the road and inside the studio. From their early Glasgow origins to international stardom, discover the true stories behind the music, the triumphs, and the challenges that shaped one of Scotlandโ€™s most enduring rock bands.

The second half of the show belongs to fans who can bring their burning questions for a live, interactive Q&A session where no topic is off-limits. Expect razor-sharp Scottish wit, honest insights, and a warm, unforgettable encounter with two music icons.

Carlton Kirby, the Voice of Cycling, shares inside stories and frank opinions from his 25 yearsโ€™ covering the sport.

In a funny and revealing evening for all cycling fans, Carlton will reflect on his front-row experiences from the Tour and other big races โ€“ plus the lessons heโ€™s learned from life on the road, as a bon viveur in budget hotels across Europe.

Carlton is maybe the last in the line of the great character commentators โ€“ cyclingโ€™s answer to cricketโ€™s Henry Blofeld, F1โ€™s Murray Walker or dartsโ€™; Sid Waddell. He has been in the commentary box for a golden age of British cycling and the evening will also include stories of his not-always-happy dealings with stars including Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and his own gantry partner-in-crime Sean Kelly.

Carlton will be in conversation with former Procycling magazine writer Duncan Steer.
