As a young man in Johannesburg, Sydney felt the need to move and to study fine art. Having moved to England Sydney studied in Wimbledon, moving on to the OU for the History of Art, then Goldsmiths studying Art Therapy, which brought him a respect for the unconscious in art.
He now lives just outside Newbury painting full time.
This exhibition will feature work from all of the following periods in Sydney’s life:
Early Work – London 1970’s
Second, Shiplake, 1985-early 2000s
Third, 2010 – now
