Audiences were hooked by high-stakes rescue missions, unforgettable futuristic vehicles like Thunderbird 2 and Barry Gray’s iconic score.

Dee Anderson was at the heart of it – and is the only person on earth who can say this: ‘Lady Penelope was my mum.’ As the daughter of Sylvia and Gerry Anderson, Dee Anderson, lived and breathed the magic of Thunderbirds as a child. She saw how Thunderbirds’ unmatched sense of heroic scale and futuristic wonder captivated generations worldwide.
